같이 영화관에서 영화를 봐요!

Instead of our usual screening, we're going to the cinema together to watch No Other Choice 어쩔 수가 없다 (2025) by director Park Chan-wook, followed by beer & discussion at a nearby bar.

🎬 No Other Choice | 어쩔 수가 없다 (2025)

No Other Choice (2025) is a black comedy thriller directed by Park Chan-wook. After being laid off and humiliated by a ruthless job market, a veteran paper mill manager descends into violence in a desperate bid to reclaim his dignity. Starring Lee Byung-hun and Son Ye-jin. Runtime: 139 min.

🎬 About the director

Park Chan-wook is one of Korea's most celebrated filmmakers, known for Oldboy, The Handmaiden, and Decision to Leave. No Other Choice is a wickedly clever takedown of the corporate rat race.

What is the Korean Movie Club?

The Korean Movie Club is a space to watch, discuss, and connect. After each screening, we hold a multilingual discussion in English, French, or Korean, no Korean required! Beyond the film itself, each session includes a closer look at the cultural and historical background of the story, plus tips and tools to support your Korean language journey. All levels and backgrounds welcome.
